I have a fun tip for you today…. 

Do you know what color you can use to lessen hunger and reduce cravings? 

Red perhaps? Nope. Red, orange and yellow actually activate food cravings (if you notice, most fast food restaurant use those colors).


The answer is: BLUE

Blue functions as an appetite suppressant. Researchers have found that people eat 33 percent less in a blue room; the bluish light that results evidently makes food look less appealing. 

You don't have to paint your entire kitchen blue but if you eat on blue plates or even use a blue tablecloth or place mats, you will activate the part in your brain that results in eating less. 

I personally have blue plates, glasses with blue swirls on them and blue table cloths.  

Try it out. It's an easy way to reduce your food intake by 33 percent.
