Every time you link boredom with food, you condition this response. This conditioning makes you gain more and more weight. Continuously using food when you're bored as something to do isn't going to address your true cravings.

To put an end to boredom eating you need to get to the source of why you are bored! That means feeling your boredom and asking yourself “what am I craving instead?” so you can create new fulfilling activities that bring joy to your life, which is what you're REALLY craving right?
