These past few weeks have opened my eyes a bit to something that is concerning me. 

Many of you have really challenging conversations in your head that are keeping you stuck with your body. 

Often times we carry similar body conversations that we heard growing up. Just like as parents we often say the same things to our kids we heard growing up, we repeat similar words or phrases that we heard our parents say about their bodies or others about health, weight and bodies. 

I'm hearing many of you say phrases like: “I hate myself when…” or “I have to stop eating X” or “I'm bad when I eat X.” 

These types of phrases are wreaking havoc on your weight loss success. Do you know how hard it is to every day, all day to hear these types of phrases and actually succeed? If you are doing this, it HAS to change! 

You DON'T have to speak to yourself that way. You can love yourself through the process of slimming down with gentler and more loving self-talk and loving conversations. 

Am I saying slimming down is all talk and no action? No, but all action with horrible self-talk doesn't work either. They both have to work together to make lasting and loving weight loss occur.
