Slimming down is as much of a mind game as it is a food game – especially if you're an emotional eater like me.
That's why today I have a fun and surprising trick that will really work to get you slimming down this week….
I use this ALL the time when I'm up a few pounds and want to get my weight down and it always works like a charm – but the key is REALLY getting into it….
Here's how it works:
1. Take a few minutes to visualize yourself just 5-10 pounds lighter than you are right now. Don't make the amount of weight loss too big or your mind won't believe it and will resist this exercise.
2. In your mind's eye see yourself moving, eating, and feeling the way your thinner self would 5-10 pounds lighter.
3. Next, DECIDE to act in alignment with this thinner and healthier vision of yourself. In other words, walk around work with a little more bounce in your step, speak about how proud you are of yourself, wear clothes that reflect feeling good in your skin and take action!
4. Repeat visualizing your desired 5-10 weight loss each morning and then take aligned action each day.
The act of faking-it-until-you-make-it and seeing yourself lighter is a powerful trick that activates both your unconscious and conscious mind. The more you ‘pretend' to be the person you visualize, the more you will actually create the person you desire.
Change the conversation in your mind, visualize what you desire and act accordingly and watch what happens this week…
